I ordered an item on 24 Jan which was showing on the website as in stock and available for dispatch within 24 hours.
On 27 Jan I received an email stating that the item was currently awaiting stock.
On 30 Jan, having heard nothing further but seeing on the website that the item was showing as in stock, I contacted Ellie James. I tried to reply to the 27 Jan email but got a bounceback, and after trying two different contact numbers finally got through on the phone to someone who confirmed that due an error on the website the item was still showing as in stock, but it wasn't. I was told that an order had been placed and should be dispatched within the next week.
On 4 Feb I received another email telling me that due to a "technical glitch" the item had shown on the website as in stock, but that it wasn't, was on order and would be dispatched as soon as possible.
As of today, 13 Feb, there is still no sign of my item. At all times, the website had displayed this item as in stock and available for dispatch within 24 hours - which Ellie James is well aware is not true.
Incredibly frustrated at the service and the blatant dishonesty of the availability of products.
