OK so in the main, and for the price I paid for it (c. £16 through Wowcher), it is a very useful course. However, I have a number of points to make, because I was absolutely astounded by these points. 1) some parts of the course including videos were directed at potential CLIENTS of counsellors, to go to their sessions 2) There were often no explanations that videos would show specific types of therapy - most seemed to be just plucked from somewhere off the internet and be focussed on an area of counselling not touched upon previously. 3) The text written by the course CREATORS (not plucked out of a book or web) was written in APPALLING English with punctuation that obfuscated understanding. 4) The most important - the final questions were really weird, un-useful, unimportant and written in an even more confusing, incorrect way than the previous text - so bad, one could barely understand them. They had no context and would just pluck a sentence from somewhere in the text and expect you to know what aspect of counselling it referred to. All in all, this terrible written communication was why I simply had to say something. As a proofreader, editor and professional CV writer I beg you to let me loose on this course to rectify at least the grammatical errors, and as well please get someone to make it flow better? For your and customers' sake.
