So THANKFUL for a most EXCELLENT and PLEASURABLE customer service & shopping experience- I’ve had in a LONG time! I’m a seasoned consumer and consider myself -frugal (not cheap – cheap is-not nice😜)-knowledgeable-and informed. We can title this essay: “#MissFrugal Make a Sofa Purchase” Enjoy!😜 This past weekend was “tax free weekend in Massachusetts”. I decided to FINALLY “pull the trigger” and visit local stores and FINALLY make up my mind on a sofa (after months of not being able to justify this ‘larger’ purchase in my mind -yet😳🧐🤷‍♀️!) AND save 6.25% in taxes as well? I was ready! After visiting the local furniture stores -I fell in love with a sofa and decided to make the purchase-YAY! It was a productive and satisfying shopping experience—I was VERY happy with everyone I encountered in the local stores-and all-around -just a fun day- picking out a sofa! I was very excited about the couch (is ‘couch’ just a Massachusetts thing…? 🧐 something else I’ll need to research soon 😜) The one downside while shopping-was- at this same timeframe- I was also working on switching from one cell provider -to new cell provider (Miss Frugal struck again! It was time to move on from a tried-and-true larger cell company- to a newer- American-based company! #MissFrugal & #MissPatrioticShopper- had “been on a mission-a mission from God“🙏 🇺🇸😎😜🤣) Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control-it did not go smoothly or as planned. The glitch that remained unresolved for several days left me with a cell phone Internet connection-that was sporadic or nonexistent as I traveled 🤯🤯 and I wasn’t able to do my usual online price-comparisons 😕— until AFTER- I made my purchase. BecauseI HAD completed the full purchase including payment and delivery set-up etc. As fate would have it--once I was able to compare pricing online-I came across 1StopBedrooms.com 😳😱🤩🤩🤩 I quite honestly- was taken aback- by the $600 PIECE DIFFERENCE..? Just-WOW! I was blown away temporarily, and a bit disappointed in myself that I had not done my research. First, I immediately emailed the furniture store I had purchased from -and canceled my purchase with them- stating my reason why I was canceling (and yes-I did have some feelings of “guilt“ but my wallet was having some “feelings“ a well . I guess you could call it-An ‘empty feeling’ ..? lol! But I chose the email route versus a phone call because I wanted everything documented. This is a business -and a business transaction- and my feelings were not going to be involved-in a business/conscious matter. The price difference was just -too much. And my wallet is not a charity for -commissions.) So with that said- I started my order online with 1Stopbedrooms.com. I choose financing through Affirm (I’m working on rebuilding my credit and I thought this was a great flexible option.) But before I hit the “purchase“ button-I had a couple of questions- and I decided to call. And that’s where I had the most pleasurable encounter with Raymond- who was professional-polite-knowledgeable- and answered my questions quickly and efficiently and confidently. He talked to me about the warranty on this couch, which I initially had decided against but after hearing about it, I decided absolutely YESSSS! Another ‘moment of fate’ -because the warranty is absolutely wonderful and well worth every penny! The local store I initially purchased from- didn’t even mention it to me…? So-“Yay“- to Raymond-and to me! 👏👏👏 Raymond is a 5- no-a TEN STAR⭐️ review as well!- With all this said-final thought: I’m EXTREMELY EXCITED for my purchase to arrive! And “NO”-No one paid me to write this lol! Final savings-after adding in the 5-year protection plan on my sofa-was $300! Even after paying MA taxes- and- the price had gone up approximately $110 online -over a 24 hour period - As I “slept on it“ (Take note potential buyers: Prices can change in an instant— “Pull your trigger“ -make that purchase you’ve been wanting! “The opportunity may never arise again-Never miss out on a great opportunity“ lastly,-I did mention to Raymond -The price increase in 24 hours- and- he was able to give me a $50 credit! So—Thank you again Mr. Raymond!) When all was said and done- I saved $300 overall! I realize this is a longer-detailed review- But -I sincerely hope it helps! It’s been a total pleasure for #MissFrugal! 😜😳🤩🤣🤣 “The show’snot over folks! #MissFrugal Will be on stage performing again at 10 PM! Bring your friends and family!” 😳😜🙏✌️🥰😍😘❤️😇 “I’ll be back!“
