I would give zero stars if I could and feel as though I have been scammed. Having been booked in for emergency heart surgery I was on the lookout for some clothes to make me feel comfortable whilst in hospital and recovering after, I checked that my order would definitely be delivered in time.. which it wasn’t- bizarrely not even the start of the poor customer service this company offer. Waited double the amount of time stated on Black Friday for my order, I had actually emailed once to check on and a second time to cancel as I was already in hospital at this point and it was sent anyway. Due to this I wanted to return it immediately, returns portal was shockingly not working and before changes to their website terms and conditions (I had screenshot before the change) there was no mention that they would only offer £2.99 to cover a return, despite the FREE UK RETURNS splashes everywhere on their website (they say £2.99 in my email yet is stated £3.99 on the website after they changed it). After having asked for the order to be cancelled before sending and actually received incorrect items too it cost me £13 to send back. Despite all of this it has been 16 working days since they said they would offer a partial refund (email is dated 17th Jan) credit on their site (which is again wasted money as I will not shop there again and all items I received in the mystery box were definitely men’s). Bintou especially stands out for the worst customer service I think I’ve ever received.
