Quality of the leather and colors are excellent. I did have a first baseman’s mitt made. The leather is a bit thicker than I would have liked it - making break-in a challenge. My biggest issue may be minute to others - is the distance between the blackstrap and base from where the fingers start. It’s just very wide - fingers are more exposed, and even with a large hand, it’s just not a comfortable feel - especially since I leave my pointer finger out. I feel like I have less control of the mitt. Stitching and lacing as well as embroidery is well above average. The colors pop beautifully. Presentation of the mitt upon arrival was a pleasant surprise.
