After long consideration I bought the 9 Barista, mostly based on the design, and as an engineer, let's face it, the cool factor. Because how cool is it to have a non electronically self regulating stovetop espresso machine? It took several runs to dial in the grind and amount of the coffee (and flame size), but now my 9 barista produces espresso that beats my Delonghi Dedica hands down.
