Too bad that I couldn't give zero stars...because that's what they deserve. My mother has been a credit card holder with them for at least 5 years. I pay her bill online and she was never late, and she always paid more than the minimum. My father recently passed away and Barclays not only cancelled the joint card, but they told my mother that she would not be approved for a card under her name only. They said that the debt-to-income ratio was too high. She has a credit score of 791 and the only reason that the balance was high now was because of the funeral expenses. I see that I'm not alone in having bad experiences with this company. How disgusting! Why are they still in business?
