I aquired a Barclaycard back when they had a relationship with Apple. I used it to purchase a few iPhones and more than one laptop. Probably spent $5k over a few years. I credit is excellent and I really don't need to carry credit card balances. They lost their relationship with Apple so I hadn't used the card for a few years. They sent to me a letter stating that if I didn't use my card they would close my account and they did. "F" them! They say that closing credit accounts that you've had for some time can negatively effect your credit score but they don't seem to give a rat's ass. Will I ever do business with them again? No! Will I tell everyone I know? Yes.....
