As a problem gambler I have self excluded myself from all casinos and bookmakers. Some how BOTB is excluded from this regulation as they are deemed a ‘skill based game’. This is wrong on so many levels and I have lost hundreds of pounds on BOTB whilst being self excluded. All of which BOTB have shown no empathy or care for in their responses to me. They don’t care about people with gambling addictions and they have just discovered a new way to exploit gambling addicts which is exempts them from having to care under some legal technicality. It’s so wrong and unethical. They may claim that they are not a gambling operator, but the simple fact that they have games such as 'instant win'. Which the involvement of the game only involves click a button and then a random outcome occurring, is not different to a slot machine or the likes. Why are the bookies on the high street forced to comply to gambling laws, yet BOTB goes unregulated and ruins lives?
