Please, stop buying from this joke of a company!
On December 22nd I placed an order of £250 and paid the extra fee to get it asap. Well, it's February 28th and I am still waiting. I tried contacting them several times through their webpage (no number, no chat) first to ask them if they could help me track the package, then to cancel my order. I tried emailing them through their site at least 8 times without an answer. Not even a "Thank you we will come back to you ASAP".
So, I headed to Facebook. I posted a long comment a week ago explaining the situation and that I will soon have to take legal action against Burton. That post was removed a couple of days later. I decided then, to do like most people on the page, and commented on each and every post they had. I posted what is happening to me but also "GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK" that got a lot of likes. Today I discovered that not only have all of my comments been removed (with all of the other comments from angry consumers) but that I had also been blocked from their page. I cannot comment or like (with the angry face) any single post.
So...They ignore my emails, they block me on Facebook and they STILL have my £250 + £5.95 for fast shipping. If the plan was to give away my money, I would have given it to charity and not to this nightmare of a company!
They are no other ways of contacting them as their phones are closed due to Covid. Is this normal? NO!
A terrible company with a lousy service! That's what it is.
Fun fact? Since this started, I have received NOTHING from Burton, not even email advertising something new like other brands do. My husband on the other hand...gets emailed every week with new offers. They have time to send those emails, they have time to block me on Facebook but they don't have the time to PAY BACK MY MONEY and pay all of the other costumes that are in the same boat as me.
