I received a leaflet from Checkatrade and out of the 60 ads, they all contained the same area code - not one mobile number. Then I noticed that 57 of the ads shared only 2 district codes. I smell a rat, but I won’t be phoning Checkatrade for pest control. It’s obvious that these are different extensions for the same 2 numbers. I wanted a quote for fitting a water pump - labour only - and I would supply the electrical feed. I was told it was a 2hr job and £150. It’s a 30 minute job - max. Incidentally I was previously looking for a TV aerial installation and had a reply from a shuttering carpenter!
