Been a member for over 15 years , they seem to just take on anybody. Recently , after having solid reviews over 450 they thought it was fair to let a customer who we haven’t worked for and only gave a quote and got in contact with , leave a review without any proof they actually asked us a question . They refuse to take it down even though we had been in touch with this person and apparently they asked another question after we visited but we never received anything , they have no proof from the person and yet they think that’s acceptable .
Now who doesn’t have proof when they complain ???? The lady Shannon in the checkatrade senior reviews team , keeps avoiding my questions about giving us the required complaints procedure and where we direct our solicitors letter for defamation of character . Thanks for 15 years of being one of your real tradesman fully qualified with legit reviews you can’t fake for that duration and treating us in this way . Note- I agree that clients should be able to complain and give feedback but not when they have no proof and it’s just malicious content , and the so called person doesn’t have a shred of evidence that they contacted us . What’s odd , is that we turned up , gave a quote , but when she sent a question that never was received after we had been out to see the client , she leaves a review , when most people would think , well they’ve given me a quote and contacted us (we have email proof ) but yet I asked an invisible question, I tried no other means of communication and didn’t even get you from checkatrade but I’ll track you down and leave a complaint . Absolute joke
