I joined Checkatrade in 2009,it was brilliant and really got me through the financial crisis. Then it was sold to Homeserve a few years ago. My membership fee went up from £800 to £2400!!! Literally overnight the enquiries stopped. Many calls to CaT but no help. I'm not trading anymore. I wouldn't recommend CaT to any trade. It's had it's day. What a real pity.
