Contacted 3 paving specialists, who, according to Checkatrade, were top of their field. No respnse from one. The second one messaged an hour before a site visit to cancel, have had a bunch of excuses since - but no estimate. The third turned up promptly, gave me a 'guesstimate' off the top of his head saying Id get everything in writing the day the job was started. When I looked on line for examples of the company's work, I found several newspaper articles detailing illegal involvement. I won't be using Checkatrade again.
