I’ve been with checkatrade as a tradesman for 10 years now and missed a payment on my account over Christmas. Get a phone call 6 weeks after. Then a week later sending a solicitors letter demanding I paid the next 10 mouth upfront and kicked off the site. Seen Homeserve took over they have gone down Hill. Only interested in the money and not the tradesman. When the other owner was there they would phone you monthly , text you and evening send a letter. Which they done do any more. But happy to take £168 per mouth. Even when you have no work. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE ANYMORE. PLEASE DONT THORE FOR THE LIES. AND JOIN A DIFFERENT COMPANY LIKE KEVIN BYRNE NEW ONE.
