The founder of checkatrade made a very reputable company. In recent years he sold his company to Homeserve since then they have made many changes non of which have been better for the customer or tradesman. I would recommend any customers when on checkatrade looking for a trader to no let them send three specialist traders. Go through the pages of traders read the reviews and contact them directly ,this ensures you choose the best traders yourself, also they would be local to you and you won't be waiting for a phone call that doesn't come.
