Signed up to Checkatrade a few years back. Doesn't work for our company anymore and very few leads coming through. Those that do come through are a waste of time. Tried to cancel and told our account has auto renewed so we have to stay signed up for a further 12 months. They have also put up their prices by £50 per month so we are being forced to pay the additional money. We have also tried to cancel the auto renew for next year and we also cannot do that but have to wait until it's due to renew and then cancel. Total crooks and a waste of hard earned money, stay clear and do not get caught in the trap!!! Will be advising every tradesperson I know to stay clear of these crooks.
