A and I Roofing based in Sandbach Cheshire charged my elderly parents for poor quality work on a roof and deliberately kicked tiles down to cause a leak, presumably to get more work. They had been Checkatrade members and had used the Checkatrade logo even though they had been kicked out. This persuaded my parents that they were a legitimate Company. Were Checkatrade bothered? No. Now the Company still operating from same address in Sandbach has changed to A and E Roofing and is back as a Checkatrade member getting good reviews on Checkatrade because they won't allow negative reviews on their website.Checkatrade is just a cover for scam Companies who pay them to be listed. This is the view of Trading Standards and they have previously been investigated by BBC Watchdog. Steer clear of them.
