I recently had a very bad experience with a property refurbishment company. However, when I came to leave a review, I could not actually fault the company when leaving feedback on the categories detailed by Check-a-Trade, such as 'reliability and time keeping.' The company was reliable! We were charged as quoted! What we didn't realize was the mark-up the company was making, charging us £10k for windows which cost them £5k. They also tried to get us to pay extra certain parts went wrong, we did however challenge this. The company in question has 100% scores of 10 across he board. Most of these are their commercial clients. Very biased.
