I pre ordered a game so that I would have it on the day of the release. This company claimed to get the games a few days before the release date so that they could send them 48 hour delivery through Royal Mail, ensuring that we got the game on the day of the release. This was the scam which I trusted.
What actually happened is they "sent" the game the day after it's release and sent me a Royal Mail tracking number..... but as the days passed I started to wonder where my game was and I was told to wait around 15 working days for it! It turns out this company is not based in England like the website makes it look like, they are located in Denmark. So if you live in England apparently it takes between 2 and 3 WEEKS for the game to arrive, instead of the 2 to 3 days they promised when I purhchased the game in the checkout. There was nothing about needing to wait 3 weeks at all. What is the point of a pre-order for a new game for it to arrive 3 weeks later?
Customer service was friendly enough but could offer no help, no cancellation or refund, couldn't track the tracking number because it doesn't exist with Royal mail. Anyway the game still hasn't arrived and it has been a little over 2 weeks since the release date and about 3 weeks since I placed the order. Still waiting.... I have no idea if it will ever arrive or not. The tracking number was fake so that's a big warning sign I am being scammed I think. I got confirmation from Royal Mail that it wasn't one of their tracking numbers.
Today I bought the game from the PS4 store. I wish I did that to start with .
