Non existent stock control!
On 3 December 2021, I order several Christmas presents on line from joules, the order was accepted and money taken. I ordered all my presents on line this year as I have recently broken my hip and was unable to travel to the shops.
I was very disappointed that over 2 weeks later I received 2 emails from joules saying that you could not fulfil my order. Imagine my disappointment at not having the items I wanted and not having enough time to go on line to find alternative replacement gifts.
I cannot understand how joules can take on line orders and not know their stock count at the time the order was placed, when all other companies appear to know if they can fulfil their orders or not immediately an order is placed ?
This is not the first time this has happened to me, whereby I ordered on line in September 2021 a child’s coat as a gift, again the order and money was taken, I told my son I had bought the coat for my granddaughter and for him to not buy her one. Imagine my upset and embarrassment when again after 2 weeks I had the money returned and informed it was out of stock and could not give my granddaughter the coat I promised.
I am very disappointed in the service provided by joules in not fulfilling orders
