I ordered a Bosch Advancedorbit 18 sander on Wednesday afternoon just after 3pm, so I knew I missed the next day delivery slot. On Friday morning I rang Mytoolshed and asked why I have not been given an information about the delivery time. I was told that an email would be on its way. By 2pm that same day, I had not received any communication so I rang again and the same person told me that the sander was in stock, but none of the Bosch sanding disks, which I had ordered were in stock and would not be available until the following week. I had planned to be using the sander for some weekend projects, so I requested the sander to be sent and I would source the sanding disks locally. This was agreed. I asked if the sander would be arriving the next day and was told it should be. Needless to say it wasn't. I did receive an email telling me that it would be delivered on Monday which meant my DIY sanding tasks were cancelled for that weekend. On Monday morning I again telephoned Mytoolshed and spoke to a female and told her how disappointed I was over the late delivery of the sander and not being informed at the point of sale that the sanding disks were out of stock. She sounded totally disinterested and her only suggestion was to ask if I wished to cancel the order for the sanding disks. I told her yes. I have never bought anything from this company and even though their prices are very competitive, I can't see me using them again.
