Where do I start. We broke down in Bristol at 6pm last night, phoned the RAC. They arrived at 10.30pm and said the van would need recovering. Told our driver that they would recover him from 4am the following day. He stayed in a hotel and went back to the van for 4am. At 8.30am he phoned me and said he hadn't heard anything. I called the RAC 11 times during the day and was told they would get a manager to call me back every time (this never happened). On my 11th call at 3.30pm I was told that breakdown was on it's way. I don't know about you but I believe nearly 12 hours stuck on the side of a busy road is absolutely ridiculous. Oh and I have just had a call off our driver saying the recovery can only take him as far as Cardiff and another recovery vehicle will bring the vehicle down to Swansea (I wonder how long he will have to wait for the RAC to sort this transition out).
