Used RAC for pre purchase car inspection. Used advance inspection. Absolute rip off. After the engineer inspected the vehicle - gave me all clear that car is perfect he couldn’t fault except 1 or 2 minor issues that I need not worry about. Received written report with more technical language. Purchase the car. Multiple phone calls and emails to RAC and complaints, never replied to any. Within 3 months car started giving problems with gear box issues, when the gear box was given all clear. Despite advance inspection, lot of things written in report as beyond the scope of inspection. If they can’t even find out that gear box is faulty, what sort of inspection is that. Moreover no answer to any of my enquires. Never use this rip off company.
