Don’t ever use RAC. European cover is terrible. We were without our car for almost a month because of their total incompetence-in the end threatened to report car stolen as nobody seemed to know where it was!
They appear to routinely lie to their customers and do not bother to get in touch to explain. I have logged a complaint in detail which includes texts, phone logs etc which will have arrived in Bristol today requesting acknowledgment. Fellow forum users will not be surprised to know that nothing has happened.
