I purchased a chair from Staples and the salesperson sold me on their protection plan. His pitch was you if you have a problem I would not have to deal with the manufacturer, if it's defective just bring it back to the store and we will refund it or replace it. I have had the chair 45 days. That claim is FALSE. My wife and I heard the same thing and when I returned the defective chair they said they don't take chairs back and referred me to the website to file a claim.
What did I buy here??? The lesson here is if you have to shop at Staples, DON'T BUY THEIR PROTECTION PLAN! If you have a problem your not any better off than using the manufacturer's.
