When I started the process of trading in my handset, everything went very smoothly. From creating an account, to getting a quote for my device, to receiving the envelope to send my device, through to confirmation they had received the device and the checks had been done and payment will be in my bank account within 5 working days. All done in 10 working days.
This is where my experience changed. As payment wasn’t in my bank account within 5 working days. 5 separate calls chasing payment, with several excuses for why the payment had not been received, from wrong bank details, to IT issues, to payment with be in by midnight tomorrow or by the end of the week.
During the last call, I was told it would be by midnight the following day. As I'd been told this before, I advised that I had a log of every contact with them, both calls and emails and if the payment wasn’t in my account by midnight the following day as they has stated, I would be seeking legal advice. Payment received was received that day, which was 13 working days after confirmation
If you are going to use this company make sure you keep a log of every interaction you have with them and don't stop chasing payment.
