I have ordered some shoes from Yoox and after waiting weeks to get them, delivery service had left them in the hallway instead at my doors (even though I left clear address with apartment number to Yoox) so the item got stolen. I live in NYC so this was totally expected.
After I have had complained that I have never received the product I filled a police report so to obtain footage from cameras.
Yoox kept sending me from one automated message to another until finally told me that the investigation by the UPS who delivered it was closed as they couldn’t find package to establish damage claims (the stolen package?!?) and that was it. Accompanied of course with standard greeting message basically ensuring me that I’m in the best hands. What an irony. The whole process took over a month now.
I, for God knows how many times explained that I never received the product I ordered, that therefore no damage inspection was possible but I believe I was talking to a machine that kept providing standardized answers.
They further kept instructing me to, should I so desire, contact UPS directly which I rejected as I didn’t have any business with this company. I neither purchased something nor required UPS as carrier but from Yoox so it’s their obligation to resolve the issue.
I will basically never receive neither the item I have purchased nor the money.
Stay away from this company, it’s an outrage.
