I booked parking at the Short Stay car park at ABZ ahead of time using the internet feature. Online booking works well. The barriers read car number plate on arrival which makes it easier to enter. Now for the design errors. The Car Park is designed such that pedestrians have to cross several lanes of traffic in order to get to the terminal. An accident waiting to happen. As far as I can see if you decide to try parking downstairs first you have no way to reverse your decision and return to the multi-story car park. There is no indication around the car park of where spaces are located. The bike rack is unhelpfully some distance away from the main access to the terminal. There is no covered walkway from the car park to the airport terminal.....in poor weather which we get a lot of in Aberdeen this can be a REAL problem.
