I cannot argue the fact that it was a little bit overwhelming going on a tour to Mexico City to start a relationship with someone with a different cultural and language background. But I would also say that the rewards far exceed any potential pitfalls. There's a higher chance that you can find a kindred soul with the same taste as yours in Mexico than you would in America.
