When I first started over 10 years ago I really wanted to YOLO. it was a desire in me. I wanted to start a new account and just do x1000 on some asset, and thought that if I create 1000 accounts like that, I would 100% be in profit. That was my "trading strategy" lol. Assets and timings were pretty much picked at random — I chose whatever I think was cool. Unsurprisingly, it didn't work. I had to learn the hard way that spreads and margin exist for a reason. And that price always does the zig-zag, whatever direction it moves in. That's why I really appreciate that Activtrades has "smaller" leverage. Only 1:200 for non-pro accounts (1:400 for pros). They really try to protect newbs from the mistakes I made! They also have really low costs for trading, thats the other thing too...
