Adobe have a monopoly on certain software, and as such exploit their customers (mostly students btw). They have very sneaky pricings and payment plans. Their 'free trial', has a cancellation fee. It is almost impossible to delete your account as it is buried deep in the settings. You can't cancel a subscription without paying them something and you are unable to delete your account with an active subscription.
They were sued by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) for violating consumer protection laws by trapping customers in subscriptions.
