During our meeting, he requested an advance payment for his legal services, which we discussed in person and also had written confirmation of. He assured me that he would initiate work on my case the following Monday. Regrettably, immediately after I sent him a screenshot of the payment transaction and made the payment, all meaningful communication with Mr. Valero ceased. It was precisely at that moment when all communication came to a halt. I have observed that he consistently opens my emails, as confirmed by read receipts, but there has been no response from him whatsoever. This lack of responsiveness has placed me in a challenging situation, and I am now contemplating seeking legal assistance elsewhere to address the issues that have arisen and recover my payment. For those considering Mr. Valero's services, particularly if you are a foreigner, I strongly advise reviewing his older client feedback. There, you may encounter similar experiences shared by other clients. Additionally, you may come across confusing responses like 'I don't know you.' In the past month, I have sent a total of three emails, attempting to reestablish contact following his complete disappearance after requesting the advance payment. Prior to this incident, he was highly responsive. However, he has not answered calls, sent any form of correspondence, or adhered to our agreed-upon terms. Despite my experience in dealing with lawyers, I have never encountered a situation like this before. I remain hopeful of providing an update to this review in the event of any changes in the situation or if Mr. Valero reestablishes communication.
