Osmo UV Protection Oil is what I bought as a trial really as I have tried many different kinds of wood treatment with all kinds of results, usually ending in poor states of porosity due to cracking, weathering or the simply fact yone would normally have to rub down previous coats and virtually start again once the coat had failed after a year or 2. Don't get me wrong, I have only just begun to use this after a director of a supplier told me he had been using it for years and found it to be best on the market. I am building high end planters which last a lifetime so for me finding something you would simply recoat after so many years appears to be the best solution. It lays on very well, doesnt just sit on the surface but sinks in and gives a gorgeous warm finish on hard or softwood. Will so how it lasts over time, but if it works out we will be recommending this product as a primary coating for our clients.
