over many years i have used everything from self mixed beeswax to modern acrylic varnishes. this product, when applied with the recommended; and expensive; brush, is a dream to apply. much easier than acrylics, and a superior finish with so little effort. it also seems to be more durable, although it has only been in use for 3 months. i have also had to repair a part of the applied coating. dead easy and unable to see the join! i have no doubts in totally recommending both the 'varnish' and expensive but beautiful brush to apply the varnish. you will not be disappointed. many thanks, john bevan.
