I was really looking forward to enjoying my six Alphonso mangoes when they arrived. Unfortunately they were very disappointing. This was because they were overripe and somewhat soggy, especially at the pointy end. Of course, this affected their flavour too. Perhaps Aha can do something about this? I hope so! It's the way sellers respond to poor reviews which matters most. My earlier critical review resulted in a prompt response from Subbu, apologising profusely for the condition of my mangoes and promising to send me a fresh batch free of any charge, which I received today. The perfume which greeted me when I opened the box was sensational. Although I haven't tried a mango yet, this was enough to convince me that they would be delicious! They certainly felt firm and had no black markings on the skin. I'll post again when I've enjoyed my first mango. Watch this space!
