In the light of recent changes to the regulations for drone pilots, I wanted to ensure that I was up-to-date with the regulations and that I would be safe to others, uninvolved in my activities. I realised that the CAA's "A2 Certificate of Competency" was an essential qualification and I looked for an organisation that could provide the necessary training. Having looked at a number of training providers, I chose Airborne Platforms. They provided all the necessary course materials, online self-evaluation tests and, most importantly, support and assistance at every stage of the process. I'm delighted that I decided on Airborne Platforms as I passed, first time", at every stage of the training. I'm now the proud possessor of an "A2CofC", that will vastly extend my area of operation.
