AVOID like the plague!!! I would give negative stars if I can.
This company is unprofessional, unhelpful and simply criminal. Parked there for a weekend and came back to more than £700 worth of damages to the car. Their spaces are so tight that any inexperience driver or on a rainy day, your car will get hit.
DON'T LISTEN TO THEIR LIES. Whatever safe car park awards they are advertising are probably false. Their so called CCTV cameras are so few and far apart and do not actually cover the parking bays. No chance they will pick up any footage of a collision when your car is parked. And even requesting the CCTV footage was a huge pain in the bottom. After filing 2 online complaint forms, speaking to 8 different online agents and calling the actual car park office 6 times, the answer I got was they cannot tell me anything about the CCTV footage. All I wanted was to know whether their CCTV camera actually filmed my car in its spot or not, but they simply said they "don't have time to look at the footage". To me it sounds like 'you mean nothing to us after we take your money'.
What's more frustrating is that the actual service provided was also appalling. They gave us a number to call when you land so that they can send a bus to pick you up from the airport to get to the car park. Took about 10 tries before we got through, each time playing an automated message that says, "sorry the staff at Airparks is busy". Then when we got through, they said that they will not send the bus until we are physical outside the airport and at the bus stop before they'll send a bus. We called again when we were outside in the cold and rain, again taking many tries before they answered and said a bus be there in 5 minutes. Little did we know 5 minutes for them meant 30 minutes. They refused to answer our calls again during our long wait in the cold and rain. Some people in our party even caught a cold from that wait.
In conclusion, if you value your car; your time; your money; or your dignity; pay a few pounds extra and go for the official Luton car parks. This incident I saved £4 pounds in booking but wasted £700 + higher insurance premium (because I filed a claim to get the CCTV footage as the car park won't review the footage for me), hours of my time, and was rudely spoken to by all the Airparks Shortrun/Holiday Extras employees. Some of them even ended an online chat after I said them refusing to help me is equal to aiding the hit and run offender. My advice is that take this review seriously and read some others who have said the same. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. This was my worst experience with a heartless corporation.
