Usually shop at Aldi in Reading, several branches to choose from there, parking is as you would expect from a large supermarket - no hassle, no registration, just park and shop. Not here at Wokingham. Parked as usual, in the supermarket for less than an hour, received a £70 fine the week after. The notice states the signage is obvious, but that's not the case. Looking at Google street view, there are several signs, one set for pedestrians to see on the entrance, there are several around the car park, but in tiny print. Unless you walk up to one and study it, the terms are not obvious, and anyway, are easily missed in the dark as I found out. Taking advice from a reviewer here, I called Aldi customer service who did revoke the fine quickly over the phone. So beware, check the signage carefully and do whatever it says to avoid a fine - I'm still not aware of the procedure.
