Dear Alert 1, My mother is 90 years old and recently started living alone after the loss of her husband of 70 years. She had the Alert 1 for less than a month when she felt dizzy and pressed the emergency button. The Alert 1 operator recognized my mom's slurred speech and quickly called the paramedics. He then called the neighbor who had a key to let the paramedics into my mom's house. The operator then called my sister and myself so we could join her. Alert 1 got the help my mother needed fast.
