I am not a picky or demanding customer, but this was very disappointing. I had just gotten off a 10 hour flight, and booked a car because I knew I wanted a comfortable ride into the city. Though the car was there on time, the driver was very unpleasant, almost abusive. He protested when I asked for ac, but did turn it on, with a grumble, but kept his window open.At one point he started yelling at me because he had been trying to talk to me and I hadn't heard him because I was listening to an audiobook, trying to drown out his radio.
He would not let it go, though I apologized, and was ranting so much I had to call the office from the car to ask for help.
They called him immediately and told him to stop and he did finally calm down.
As a native New Yorker I don't have high expectations for drivers, but this is becoming a more service oriented business and more competitive, and drivers need to have some people skills.
