I have ordered from Allie's Banana Bread multiple times, as well as made a point to go to Butterfields to pick up loaves when they are available. I love to make my own banana bread, but with ConEd cooking gas prices so high, I'll leave it to the professionals. (Ha!) I have had her regular banana bread, Snickerdoodle, peanut butter cup, Funfetti, Fruity Pebbles, and chocolate loaves, each being dense and flavorful. I love it room temp, toasted, OR even straight out of the fridge cold! (I do keep it in the fridge after a few days to preserve any remaining bread...IF there is any remaining bread!) Allie definitely took a classic recipe and remixed it into something fun! I'm a customer for life, that's for sure.
