Mum now aged 91 had aids fitted that resulted in two trips to GP who nearly had to send her to A @ E as lugs came off in her ear twice
They changed them for a different style as a"gesture of goodwill" for another style which went into ear more.Mum's ear canals are narrow get waxed. Apparently she has to clean filters every 7 days.Supposedly at assessment they check to ensure that customer can clean, but given mum has trigger fingers and clawed hand through arthritis not a very good check.Mum told the lady who came out to visit that this was happening and she couldn't hear as a consequence.Eventually we wrote to customer services who gave us what I would consider to be a dismissive couple of letters back.I rang up and the lady I spoke to was the most arrogant person I have ever experienced in any customer services with a customer empathy count of less than zero.At the end of the day they have sold and persisted with hearing aids that cannot be managed by the customer
