I live in South Korea and trying to get any official documents through the embassy here is a nightmare. It takes 6 months to get a passport or birth certificate if you're lucky. I have to return to SA urgently in 2 months and lost my son's birth certificate. I decided not to waste my time and stress myself going through the SA embassy in Seoul.
