We have just spent 4 nights in a Ben Lomond 3 lodge. The setting is beautiful. We had a fantastic view and it was lovely to sit with a glass of wine on the decking and watch the Loch Lomond ferry cruises go by. When we opened the lodge doors we were met by a fresh aroma and lovely clean rooms. The 3 bedrooms were very tastefully decorated and above average in size. All had ample storage facilities. There was a lovely shower room with toilet and washbasin and lots of shelf space and an additional wc with toilet and small wash basin. The kitchen area was well-equipped with all the necessary crockery and cutlery etc. The sitting area was large and airy. The heating was a slight problem as we could not quite regulate it properly but as the weather was mainly warm it was not much of an issue. The staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. We just had two small niggles - our lodge was on a corner and so we probably had more car noise than most lodges and we were disturbed more than we would have liked by barking dogs!! All in all our stay was very chilled out and extremely enjoyable.
