I recently bought a 5 string Jazz Bass PU for my bass that only had a bridge PU with Active circuitry. This was all striped out and the bridge PU is now a Kent Armstrong 5 string humbucker together with a new neck PU.. I’ve been using Kent Armstrong pickups since 1992. They are excellent pickups and most affordable.
