Arnold Clark Mini Inverness. Mini service c/o, on collection dash light still on. Told that the front discs and pads would need to be replaced before they cancelled the light. Service video sent to my phone indicated 9mm wear remaining (replaced discs and pads myself to save money, but couldn't reset computer). therefore the on board computer indicates pads and discs should have been replaced 11000 mile ago. I'm now told that unless Arnold Clark replace the pads etc they will not reset light even though there is still plenty of life in the pads. Quoted £400ish for unnecessary work, just to get the light/computer reset. They have my car and I still have the courtesy car. Think I'm winning this stalemate.
