I bought a vw tiguan with auto gearbox from Wakefield store ,a few days after a noise in the gearbox became apparent all be it was intermittent the car has been to 2 different Arnold Clark garages and checked out but no noise heard ,but only a total of 19 miles road testing was done by both garages .l keep being told to monitor the noise .l have taken the car to 2 number independent garages ( 1 was a vw dealership) who both said no noise was detected told to monitor. I have e-mailed the Wakefield branch to check how long they are prepared to let me keep monitoring the noise ,but no response .Not very happy ,l will be looking into my legal position relating this problem ,have lost all faith in the car and fear that l will be left with a large bill to repair a fault that has been ongoing now for almost 8 months .
