In support of ‘Bob’ and others who have FINALLY received their hand sanitizer, only to find it to be VERY suspicious in nature, here is my supporting summary of this nightmare of an experience in ordering from ArtNaturals:
Like many, this has the been the single most negative, frustrating, energy consuming online shopping experience I have ever had… and I have been shopping online for personal & business needs daily for years! I ordered the product (1 gallon UNSCENTED hand sanitizer) on 04/06/2020 BECAUSE of the promise by ArtNaturals to ship this IN STOCK item within 48 hours. My credit card was charged the next day (2 days before being notified by ArtNaturals that the item had shipped. ) They created a label via UPS, which automatically creates a tracking number and sets an estimated delivery date. The seller must then SCHEDULE PICKUP by UPS. They did not do this. So it LOOKS like progress and you expect delivery. But then you see NO MOVEMENT of your package. You will find countless people experiencing the same (and worse) who are reporting this company to the Attorney General, BBB, FTC, UPS, POLICE, etc...
After MANY attempts to receive an email response from ArtNaturals (they are responding to NO one and their OUTDATED, outgoing message on their phone system tells you to email them) I began action for a full refund. SUDDENLY the item shipped (weeks late.) So I was ready to forget about all this when the product arrived today...until I opened the container. This 'unscented' product has a FOUL ODOR... JUST HORRIBLE... and no detectable alcohol smell. I KNOW hand sanitizers. I worked for hospitals for 25 years!! I am still a health care provider. I now see similar reports about this odor in other reviews… and other reports about product content that seem to be of a suspicious nature. I have washed my hands twice and still smell the odor. I cannot/will not trust this on my body. If I had the time & money, I would have it evaluated by a lab. I AM SEEKING A FULL REFUND AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, I WANT THIS COMPANY TO BE INVESTIGATED.... AS DO MANY OTHERS!!!
The Better Business Bureau now has a consumer alert attached to this company’s name. Please believe it. I have never taken the time to write a negative review… ever. I am taking the time now to save others from experiencing more frustration than we are already enduring with this pandemic. This seems to be a company that used to be a good one. I cannot account for their current status. They are not communicating back to desperate customers, which is an absolute first in my experience. At first I thought my situation was an innocent oversight…until I saw all of the other buyers reporting my exact experience and worse. Until just recently, they CONTINUED to sell product and continued to promise shipment within 48 hours, while demonstrating no efforts to staff up for the purpose of answering the phone (for over a month now) or reply to emails. They are still selling, when they cannot keep up with their customer issues. This is unethical.
