This was the first time we had taken out motor bike insurance it formed part of our sons 16th birthday gift along with the moped. The whole process has been difficult and confusing. The first call was fine I was asked to send two documents only, I then received an e mail suggesting the insurance would be cancelled because we had not sent in what had been asked for which we had it turned out more documents was needed which is fine .However the insurance people would not speak to me as my son had turned 16 it became almost impossible to sort it out, Eventually my son was able to give permission for me to speak to them so i could help him its a learning curve for a 16 year old the insurance company should take this into account being it had been ok for me to pay foe it. The final straw came when they increases the excess from £450 to £999 and couldnt really tell me why except it might have been a typo error and that was to be ok It took me to go to another department to sort this out. Would never use Asda insurance again My pet insurance was due to be renewed on the 28th of October I wont insure with you again really dissappointed.
